Arun Wakhlu, (born 1955) is the Executive Chairman of Pragati Leadership Institute, Pune, India. A spiritually inspired and professionally skilled community working with leading clients in 19 countries, Pragati Leadership works to unfold sustainable value for all stakeholders.
Arun holds a B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi), and is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad). Starting with the Tata Administrative Service. Arun has logged over 25,000 hours of facilitation and coaching internationally.
He has been the Course Director for the I of C programme on “Ethics in Public Governance” for members of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) from 2005 till 2011.
He has also been the Project director for the assignment of developing the capacity of Administrative Training Institutes of the Govt. of India to facilitate programmes in Ethics and Values in Public Governance.
Author of the award winning book “Managing from the Heart”, Arun has published more than twenty eight papers and co-authored two other books, including a “Manual for Creative Teachers”. He has helped pioneer the concept of “Wholesome Development” and “Wholesome Leadership” aimed at working from joy for prosperity with peace.
His current areas of active intention and focus are:
• Developing capacity for Ethics in Public Governance;
• Developing “I Catalysts”: Conscious Leaders who catalyze accelerated innovation, inspiration initiative and integration in organizations and society;
• Catalyzing the emergence of Pune city as “Poorna Pune”; and
• Serving the emergence of One Wholesome World.
